Government First Grade College, Puttur


Govt First Grade College Puttur was established in the year 2007 with the main objective of providing higher education to the rural and poor students.

Govt first grade college Puttur was established in the academic year 2007-08 by the order of the Govt of Karnataka. The College started functioning in the old building of Zilla Panchayat higher Primary School Nellikatte, near the K.S.R.T.C. bus stand, Puttur under the leadership of Sri. Ganapathi Bhat Kulamarva, the founder Principal of the college.

Initially the college offered B.A. and B.B.M courses. In 2010-11 B.Com course has been introduced to meet the needs of the students of commerce education.
